According to the Thomson Reuters Healthcare Spending Index for Private Insurance, in 2010:

• Costs to people covered under employer-sponsored health insurance rose at a rate of 5.8%, down from a
  rate of 6.6% in 2009.
• Hospital costs grew at a 7.9% annual rate
• Physician costs rose at a 4.9% annual rate
• Drug costs increased at a 3% annual rate.
